Some NY resolutions for blogging, and internetting in general:
- Make an actual note rather than a mental plan when the thought "I should write a blog post about this!" occurs.
- Don't use this as an excuse to procrastinate from doing something actually important. No updates for a month is not as pressing a problem as an exam or project due.
- Try and find a way my mother can read this regularly now that it requires sign-in (I may have to make her a Google account, or better yet, get my sister to do it).
- When a significant amount of free time presents itself, replace the pictures in posts where they have been lost due to the big Google account changeover of 2010.
- Delete as many timewasting links as possible from History and Bookmarks. Start using the LeechBlock add-on again.
Other points to improve on:
- Learn some more of the languages I have been "learning" for the past year, before I forget it all again.
- Sensible bedtimes and rising times would be helpful. Choose them, stick to them.
- A chocolate bar is not a breakfast food. Neither is air. [Should be somewhat helped along by fixing my sleep patterns.]
- Money. Budgeting my week. Avoiding unnecessary expenses and impulse buys. Finance in general.
- Time management. [Should be greatly helped along by fixing sleep patterns and cutting out some internet.]
Welp, there it is. Hopefully I'll remember to look back on this post in a year's time just to see how much of it actually changed.
