Have just learned that my college son is from Northern Ireland.
Not only that, but he's the cousin of my overseas contact (Mark Shields).
Coincidence can be fun. :)

Trust me, I knew I shouldn't have been blogging at that time even while I was writing... and the point was definitely driven home when my alarm went off at 9am.
