Responsawhat?

The parents have just left for Galway to celebrate their wedding anniversary.

"No parties no sleepovers remember to turn things off at night byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..."

They'll be staying with my uncle (poor guy - he's only 6 years older than me). But oh well.

It's a little ironic that after warning myself and my brother not to bring our sensible, mature friends around, they have absolutely no problem with leaving us in charge of our sisters AND their friends (who never GO AWAY) - I could be wrong, but surely four under-tens are more likely to damage the house than a group of 18-plus -year-olds sitting talking or possibly playing guitars?

Gerard has had some entertaining ideas about what to do while they're away, the most exciting being to crash the motorbike into the house so that both are destroyed, and live in style from the insurance payout. :P

Oh, and this:

Gerard: Quick, download the Crazy Frog tune.
Me: [looks aghast]
Gerard: Then put it on to a 12-track CD... repeatedly... and I'll put it in the car CD player before they leave.

Wow. I'm taken aback by the supreme evil of this idea.

We didn't do it, by the way.

I generally like my parents, after all.

Yes, but they might be usurped by you and thus might involve hats and thus they just WOULDN'T BE THE SAME.
