According to my archives (which unfortunately haven't been corrected for photo-posts) this is my 82nd post. Interesting.

I spent a few days with my aunt and uncle in Oxford... but juuuuust outside where the colleges are... okay, fine, in Aylesbury. But any letters we send to them have "Oxford" in the address, I swear.
It was loud. Enjoyable. But very loud.
Also, felt a bit sad I didn't have Cez or Richard with me (they'd said I could bring a friend down, but at the stage the offer was made everyone had already gone home) since their guest room had a shelfful of books with titles like Medical Physiology, Clinical Care of (thingymabobberthatI'veforgotten), an Introduction to (othermedicalthingie), etc... did I mention the uncle and aunt are both nurses? Anyway, seemed like the kind of thing that might have interested you.
Unfortunately, didn't find one I wanted to read, as they were all directed heavily human-ward. Read a few magazines instead (all articles in all women's magazines MUST be written by the same person under different names, the style is identical), then spent silly amounts of my supposed holiday time reading Dyce. Remember Dyce? That gigantic black hardbacked Anatomy textbook? Yeah. I've been treating it as light reading lately, having little else to do since people have gone home. This may be a good thing, I suppose.
Also, had a few interesting conversations about prostate cancer and bed management. Again... they're nurses, okay?
The school run and general taking care of three small boys scared me. Not that I can't look after kids, but... seeing all the tiny tiny people running around after nursery and school let out was fairly overwhelming in an "Oh my God, don't let them realise that although their individual strength is puny they outnumber us three to one" kind of way... :P
Still think I would like a family... someday. Just after I graduate, and have had a few years in practice first. Still seems like ages away, but, in this context, that suits me fine. :D

It's now after midnight, meaning I've just entered my last 12 hours or so in Cambridge before the summer begins in earnest; more significantly, this is my last overnight in BB O, and the last night that one of "our" BB O crew is likely to be living here (although, you never know what might happen with Richard, room-wise...)
Goodbye, Blue Boar.
