Signs:
1) Looking at the word METASTASIS, which I had misspelled METASIS: instead of thinking, "Stupid, I've left out a syllable," the actual thought process was vaguely similar to, "Three letters missing. If that was a DNA base sequence there wouldn't be a frame shift but a whole amino acid would be gone..."
Yes, this really did happen. I wish it wasn't true, believe me.
2) I was almost amused when reading about the structure of lymph nodes because I realised "subcapsular" can be rearranged to spell "subscapular".
3) Ingredients in shampoos and beauty products have stupid names, like duznothin 5. Instead of thinking, "Stop trying to sound clever so we'll buy it," the thought "Sounds like it should be bound to a cyclin" occurred.
Help me.
Also - SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT! It's now after 2am on the first of June.

Ah yes, the elusive STA codon, coding for the amino acid Losetramine, abbreviated in the standard form to LSR.
Commonly referred to as LOSER.
