I was watching two of the family dogs sitting quietly together earlier today. I initially felt an inner "awww" at the sight of the older dog tenderly licking the other's face, and at the younger dog's apparent peaceful enjoyment of the gesture.
Then I looked slightly more closely and realised the older dog was concentrating on removing the other's eye gunk.

That's still adorable! The older dog was just caring for the little one...
Either that, or liked the taste of the gunk. You never know with dogs :S
