Newsgroups win again! We have a breadmaker - for £10. Experimental first loaf came out about an hour ago and it seems to be working well. :)
Yes, I will eventually post a catch-up on what I've been doing all this time. Unfortunately, my lectures started again yesterday and my first exam of the term is on Monday, so even ignoring the time taken up by my turn for cooking/dishes/etc. I haven't exactly been having a leisurely time of it.
