The world is strange under snow.

It's a shame that the little snow that managed to blow in despite the high walls of Whewell's Court had already started to go when the picture was taken.

Various rumours blamed the snow for the lack of lectures today - whatever the reason, all power to the sciences sites (New Museums and Downing sites, i.e. a big chunk of central Cambridge) was down until the evening, meaning that both my 9am and 5pm were off.

Joys.

I still want to know if the idiot builder cutting cable legend - courtesy of Richard - is true, or if maxing out the central heating was what fried the substation. But I console my curiosity with happy murmurings that snow is snow is snow, and find a better use for the free time in transporting my belongings from Steve's to my own room again.

:)

I heard that a rogue digger smushed the cables... How exciting!
