Last night I left the lab at 8pm. I could potentially have stayed another hour to completely finish what I was trying to get done, but...

Also, I have just returned from my lunch break. And I only took 15 minutes for that.

Conclusion:
8 week project = too much to do in too little time = inhuman work hours.

That no one forces on you but yourself.

Thus begins the descent into madness.
