So, after getting my stitches out yesterday (it felt very strange), and equipped with a support bandage and the reminder that the wound was in an area subjected to a lot of strain, so should be rested up for a while, I did what anyone else in my situation would do and spent about half an hour on a bouncy castle.
Honestly, what would anyone else do when you go to a barbecue and there's a free bouncy castle? I think the other vets had a fairly similar attitude, since at one point around 20-odd people were on it simultaneously. They made the bouncy castle bend.
So, yeah, vet BBQ was fun. :) I didn't ride the rodeo bull, but considering how low-rise my trousers were, this is probably a good thing. Instead, have a video of Greg's rodeo:
