Also, my sleeper studs have finally been in the full six weeks, meaning that I can start buying and wearing earrings properly now. :)
The sleepers required a lot of effort to remove - dead skin collected on the clutch, lovely - but everything appears to be healthy and normal there (something in me revolts at using such a phrase to describe flesh with a hole punched through).
I have 3 new pairs of earrings. However, one pair was of fairly crappy quality and actually fell apart when being removed from the card - back to Claire's with those. The others are a skull-and-crossbones set with sparkly bits (yay pirates!) and silvery Chinese symbols. Pretty. :)
After a couple of weeks' conscious effort (and slight stress reduction) my nails are growing back again too, and have duly been painted an appealing colour. All in all I feel fairly decorative at the moment... :P

We made a caaaaaaake.
A really big chocolatey chocolate cake with chocolate cream and chocolate spread between each of the 4 chocolate sponge layers under the chocolate icing.
It is very fragile and consequently very messy, but since the mess tastes of chocolate no one cares much.

Just last week I hit £5.77. I was very worried. I am very worried. The college have given me a loan, but I have to pay them back.
