I have an Edward Monkton card now - I apparently don't have an animal, but am a "beautiful human being" - either that or a potato, going by the image on the card. I like it.

Also, the Assassins' Guild Michaelmas game has started... :D

For your (hopefully) amusement, I present some reasonably interesting photos I've taken over the past week or so:


Yeah, she fell over after knocking on my door. Student life takes a toll on your energy levels, you know (I love how she's apparently unconscious but is still somehow holding on to her Buttery card)...



The "innocent" (tm) smoothie delivery cowmobile. Note horns and eyelashes - amazing - but then, I like cows...



The clearest photo most people typically expect to get of Andrew once he's noticed cameras are present.



Admittedly not a very clear one, so if you can't make it out, Steve is wearing a tissue on his head (don't ask) while Luci makes weird spellcaster hand movements almost off-camera.

It may interest you to know that several bottles of wine were previously noted in the area.



This was weird (and technically I shouldn't have a photo of any lab work, but meh, this was interesting). Basically, the experiment involved shutting off any circulation in the left lower arm and testing for responses... after 20 minutes my arm felt and looked dead, and I don't think the photo adequately shows the corpse-like skin tone of the arm at that point. My fingertips were a very odd lavender colour and all my nails looked grey instead of pink. Moving it around was a bit like moving the hand of a sleeping/dead person, since there was absolutely no resistance and I couldn't even feel anything while it was being poked.

Okay, longish update done, complete with pretty pictures; I'm off to play pool. I found out that Burrell's Field has a pool table in the basement of C Staircase which is next door to me.
