Um. Yes. Sorry for the lack of update, since as you may know it's not like I have had absolutely nothing to write about - however, being back in Cam (woo!) and trying to see too many people too much of the time does tend to leave you very little blog time.
I'm still feeling incredibly disorganised and have a lot to do at some point within this week, so I should probably get on with it, but first:
I'll be seeing Patrick Kielty on Thursday in the Corn Exchange. Yes, he will be in Cambridge as part of his tour, Steve and I have tickets, yay.... If I can get hold of the tickets and spare the time, I also want to see Ardal O'Hanlon and Lee Evans, since they'll be there as well during this term.
Woo. :D
Yes Gerard, I'm writing this up to make you jealous.
Also we went to a Footlights show last night which involved sketches based around the life and dreams of a narcoleptic working for the Water Board. Fairly surreal. High points: the dream involving a singing optician, the colour police force, the friend known as "The Wank", SHOOOEEEEESSSSS, "...and people!", the people stuck in a pipe - anyone else think of anything to add?
... The guy who invented the computer was mentioned at some point, I remember this because of the stupidity of the reference, but also because when the name came up I was immediately informed that he was a Fellow of King's...
From a dream sequence:
"Are you supposed to be me?"
"Yes, yes, I am."
"But you're a twat."
"Yeah. You are."
