Hey there, remember me?

Wow. My last post was over a month ago - that just shows exactly how much the kind of officials who deal with paperwork and decision-making can mess you around.

As mentioned in the last post, I wasn't quite sure what would be happening to me (on more than one level). Depression came back with a vengeance, to the point where my GP asked me not to do the exams for fear that the added stress would push me to breaking point. I withdrew from the exams and talked to my tutor about degrading (repeating third year); unbeknownst to me at the time, my tutor also submitted a request for me to be allowed to graduate as "deemed to have deserved honours" on the basis of my dissertation.

One month later, and two days away from the day I'm supposed to graduate, they have finally told me I will be graduating.

Seriously... does it take a month for them to make this choice...? Feh.

Oh well. At least I'm out of limbo now and can actually start planning ahead - academic robes for the ceremony have been hired, the invite to graduation dinner has been accepted, and I'm looking at housing for next year with Lauren (why is living so damn expensive?).

Teh Internets has missed you.

Why is it that all internet based comments must have awful grammer? Is it just so we know that it is a breeding ground for the mentally infirm and are aware? Whatever it is, Uh - WTF? is good (and grammatically correct) reading for all and we really are glad to have you back Miss Bailey BA (with Honours!)

(I think it's because people on the internet rarely spell-check, and a large group of those who don't spell-check don't even reread to check for typos - hence "teh".

But never mind that.)

Thank you for the compliment, Mr Grey BA Hons. (Cantab)! :D
