So, following many complaints that my blog was freezing people's internet browsers, and being aware that this only happened following the "Weight of Guilt" update, I checked the "Edit Html" tab for that post.
Please note that all the little intricacies scripted on this tab normally go unseen, since I generally stick to the "Compose" tab (which works a lot like MS Word) to write my posts. However, I am aware of the basics, such as the fact that there should be, say, one [span] (with different brackets, obviously, since if I used the real kind it would be interpreted as code - silly Blogger) at the start of any line using e.g. an alteration to the font style, and a [/span] tag afterwards to mark where the style should end.
Here's a rough reconstruction of what I found when I checked the "Edit Html" for that post:
"

[/span][/span][/span][/span][/span][/span]
[/span][/span][/span][/span][/span][/span]
[/span][/span][/span][/span][/span][/span]
[/span][/span][/span][/span]
[/p][span style="font family:georgia;"]

"
Soooo... I guess we know why there were problems now. It should work fine now, and it was a complete bollocks to go through and lift out all the bad tags, so I hope you all appreciate it. ;)
That said, I probably won't do a daily updates for a while unless something particularly of note is going on, since otherwise all you'd be getting would be repeats on the theme of "Argh I'm behind on the reading... why does Nick Brown hate CamTools?... dissertationy thing is taking effort, wah, I don't like effort..." and so on. If my thoughts do take a more interesting route, I'll be sure to share them. :)

Shops in Cambridge don't have enough interesting socks. I want pictures and stripes.

Did the market ones not appeal to you? They're stripey. And warm.
I did say "shops", which the market stalls technically aren't - but it's more the fact that I like buying multipack socks for some reason, so while market stripies are indeed appealing, they don't have quite the *same* appeal as Primark socks (yeah, this is the sentence where people pinpoint the definitive "sad bastard" state). :P
